This lil manx was a Fushimiinari local, and was particularly friendly with me.
While cats are found outside in many neighborhoods in Japan, there are many landlords that prohibit pets (including mine T-T). A desire for cute, fluffy companionship has led to the rising number of cat cafes. I think I might visit the one in Kyoto eventually (don’t worry, I’ll take pictures :)
